Bulb tite rivets are designed for the roofing and cladding industry, when set the rivet form three legs that evenly distribute the load over the workpiece making it ideal for soft, thin, and even brittle materials. The bulb tite rivet also works over a wide grip range and features a self-locking mandrel that gives the rivets outstanding water tightness. Available in aluminum, steel, or stainless steel materials and in a variety of head styles including standard dome, large flange, and countersunk, bulb tite rivet can be fitted with a special neoprene sealing ring which still enhances its weather-tight characteristic.

Hole filling, multi-grip, and high Strength are generally attributes of I-Lock style Rivets. The term Multi-grip implies the rivet can join parts having a wide range of thicknesses, thus reducing inventory where a variety of rivet sizes might otherwise be necessary. The hole filling reference ensures that the Interlock rivet will expand radially into the application opening to give a safe, vibration resistant joint and make up for irregular, oversized, slotted or misaligned holes. Also, I-Lock rivets can stop sheet movement in applications with non-standard holes. The primary feature of Interlock Rivets are the mechanical locking feature where the portion of rivet mandrel remaining after rivet placement is captured within the rivet. This action creates a seal at the rivet head and provides superior vibration and water resistance.
